Orla Mining (ORLA.US) fell in early trading after Newmont Mining (NEM.US) liquidated shares worth $439 million.

According to the Wisdom Financial APP, Orla Mining (ORLA.US) fell more than 6% in early trading on Friday. Prior to this, Newmont Mining (NEM.US) announced that it had sold all of its shares in Orla Mining at a price of $10.14 per share (14.00 Canadian dollars) on the Toronto Stock Exchange, with a total transaction amount of $439 million (605 million Canadian dollars). Before this sale, Newmont Mining held 43,245,294 common shares of Orla Mining, accounting for 13.3% of the issued and outstanding common shares.
