The Ministry of Finance and three other departments have issued a notice to further regulate matters related to the evaluation of intellectual property assets.

The Ministry of Finance, the China Banking Regulatory Commission, the State Intellectual Property Office, and the National Copyright Administration issued the "Notice on Further Regulating Issues Regarding the Evaluation of Intellectual Property Assets". The notice proposes that properly determining the value of intellectual property is an important link in the transformation of intellectual property operations. In the full chain of intellectual property creation, utilization, protection, management, and services, the professional role and function of asset evaluation should be fully utilized to promote orderly circulation and optimal allocation of intellectual property resources.
