On September 17, Liu Liehong, a member of the Party Group of the National Development and Reform Commission and director of the National Bureau of Statistics, attended the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo held in Nanning, Guangxi, and conducted a special research. Liu Liehong and his team investigated the cooperation of artificial intelligence applications between China and ASEAN, visited Runjian Co., Ltd., Shanhaixingchen Culture Media Co., Ltd., and Guangxi Artificial Intelligence College, focusing on the construction and application of high-quality data sets, research and development of artificial intelligence technology, construction of computing infrastructure, short drama internationalization, talent cultivation, and other aspects. Liu Liehong emphasized the need to fully leverage Guangxi's geographical advantage in facing ASEAN, promote the deep integration of digital economy and real economy, accelerate the construction of high-quality data sets based on scene demand, promote innovation in artificial intelligence application and industry ecosystem cultivation. Officials in charge of the National Bureau of Statistics' Digital Technology and Infrastructure Construction Department, as well as officials from the Big Data Development Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, attended the research.
