China Meteorological Administration Adjusts the Release of Level 3 Emergency Response for Major Meteorological Disasters

Typhoon "Mina" made landfall at 14:50 on the 19th on the coast of Shanwei City, Guangdong Province, with maximum winds near the center reaching 10 on the Beaufort scale. It is expected that "Mina" will move northwest at a speed of around 10 kilometers per hour. Due to its impact, parts of eastern Guangdong and southeastern Fujian will experience heavy rain, with some areas experiencing extremely heavy rainfall. In addition, there is a reduction in heavy rainfall in the western part of Huaxi to the western part of Huanghuai. The China Meteorological Administration issued a yellow typhoon warning and a blue rainstorm warning at 10:00 on September 19. After comprehensive assessment and emergency consultations, the China Meteorological Administration adjusted the Level III and Level IV emergency response for major meteorological disasters to a Level III emergency response at 15:30 on the 19th.
