Zhixin Finance APP News, Huahong Semiconductor (01347) announced that Chuangsheng Financing Limited (a licensed corporation engaging in Type 1 (securities trading) and Type 6 (providing advice on corporate finance) regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance) has been appointed by the company as the independent financial advisor in Hong Kong. They will provide advice on whether the proposed acquisition matters, special authorization for the proposed acquisition matters, and whitewash waivers are fair and reasonable to the independent directors' committee, independent shareholders under the Takeovers Code, and independent shareholders under the Listing Rules regarding the proposed acquisition matters, and make recommendations on the voting at the shareholders' special meeting on the above matters. According to Section 2.1 of the Takeovers Code, the Independent Directors' Committee has approved the appointment of Chuangsheng Financing Limited as the Independent Financial Advisor in Hong Kong.
