Nordic Invada's charges are not completed, Indian regulatory agency continues to investigate Adani Group.
According to sources familiar with the matter, the Indian market regulator is still investigating some of the allegations made by the American short-selling firm Hindenburg Research against the Adani Group, indicating that the conglomerate has only obtained partial relief due to the order issued on Thursday. One source mentioned that there are still some pending issues to be investigated, such as whether the group led by Adani complied with the minimum public shareholding norms, and these matters are still being looked into by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). Another source mentioned that at least three to four cases are still under review. One source added that the regulator has not received responses from some stakeholders related to these cases. While there is no indication that the conglomerate, involved in ports to power sectors, will face any penalties or regulatory sanctions due to SEBI's pending issues, it does signal that SEBI may issue more orders against the Adani Group.
