The State Council Information Office held a press conference today to release the white paper "Practices and Achievements of Women's Comprehensive Development in the New Era in China." The white paper introduces that China has made breakthroughs in key issues regarding women's health. Strengthening resource integration, preventive measures for HIV/AIDS, syphilis, and mother-to-child transmission of hepatitis B have been included in major public health service projects. By June 2025, 18 provinces have implemented measures such as including the vaccination against human papillomavirus in government livelihood projects, providing free vaccinations for eligible girls, benefiting approximately 5 million girls annually.
