On the 19th, the State Council Information Office released a white paper titled "Successful Practice of the Party's Governance Strategy in Xinjiang in the New Era." The white paper, apart from the preface and conclusion, is divided into ten parts: the historical experience of governance by central political power in Xinjiang, the glorious history of the Communist Party of China in governing Xinjiang, the establishment of a new situation in Xinjiang governance in the new era, the foundation of social stability and long-term stability becoming more solid, the deepening of the construction of the Chinese national community, the continuous deepening of democratic and legal construction, the synchronous advancement of high-quality development and high-level opening-up, significant achievements in cultural development, continuous improvement in people's livelihood, and the continuous convergence of strong forces in building Xinjiang. The white paper emphasizes that in the new era, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, from the overall situation and strategic height of building a strong country and national rejuvenation, has examined, planned, and deployed work in Xinjiang, continuously deepened its understanding of the laws of governance in Xinjiang, clarified the overall goal of social stability and long-term stability, established the Party's governance strategy in the new era, and guided the work in Xinjiang to adhere to principles and innovate, overcome contradictions and risks, and promote historic achievements and changes in all aspects of Xinjiang. The white paper points out that the Party's governance strategy in the new era has guided the modernization of the border governance system and governance capabilities to achieve a historic leap, finding a correct path to coordinate development and security in border areas, solidly promote the practice of Chinese-style modernization in Xinjiang, and achieve the overall goal of social stability and long-term stability in Xinjiang.
