The quality of our country's ecological environment continues to improve.

The State Council Information Office held a theme press conference this morning on "achieving high-quality completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan", inviting the head of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment to introduce the situation of promoting high-quality development through high-level protection of the ecological environment. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, through unremitting efforts, China's ecological environment quality has continued to improve. The proportion of excellent water quality of surface water reached 90.4%, exceeding 90% for the first time, and the water quality of the main streams of the Yangtze River and Yellow River has remained at Class II for several consecutive years.
