The proportion of redline protected areas in our country's land ecology exceeds 30%.

The State Council Information Office held a press conference this morning on the theme of "high-quality completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan", inviting officials from the Ministry of Ecology and Environment to introduce the progress of promoting high-quality development through high-level protection of the ecological environment. The officials reported that there have been new advances in ecological protection, restoration, and supervision. The proportion of the red line area of land ecological protection in China exceeds 30%. Continued strengthening of supervision for "Green Shield" nature reserves has led to the identification and rectification of 4545 key issues involving national-level nature reserves, with basic completion of the rectification process. Major projects for biodiversity protection have been implemented, effectively protecting 90% of terrestrial ecosystem types and 74% of national key populations of wild animals and plants.
