Deputy Minister Long Teng of the Ministry of Science and Technology stated at a press conference of the State Council Information Office that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, we have systematically laid out goals such as bluer skies, better food, faster transportation, and healthier living, achieving a series of breakthrough achievements. In terms of faster transportation, key tasks have been deployed around the green and intelligent transportation, focusing on transportation equipment and key technologies of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway. Breakthroughs have been made in the research and development of key equipment, with the operation speed of the CR450 EMU reaching 400 kilometers per hour, continuously refreshing the "Chinese speed"; the C919 has achieved milestones from "first flight" to "first commercial flight" to "normal commercial operation," marking an important milestone in the development of China's aviation industry, with more than 1,000 orders received domestically and internationally. New progress has been made in the construction of transportation infrastructure, with the Sichuan-Tibet Railway pioneering a set of world-leading construction technologies, standards, and equipment systems in extremely complex environments.
