2025 China-ASEAN Ministerial Roundtable Meeting on Artificial Intelligence held.

On September 18, the 2025 China-ASEAN Ministerial Roundtable Conference on Artificial Intelligence, jointly organized by the National Development and Reform Commission and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, was held in Nanning, Guangxi. The roundtable announced the launch of the construction of the China-ASEAN National Artificial Intelligence Application Cooperation Center, focusing on strengthening the foundation of artificial intelligence development, providing open source services, enhancing industrial cooperation, promoting talent cultivation, and carrying out specific cooperation to promote practical cooperation projects and promote the widespread application of artificial intelligence technology. The roundtable also proposed the launch of the "AI+" initiative for China-ASEAN cooperation, proposed the establishment of a ministerial cooperation mechanism on artificial intelligence between China and ASEAN, and announced a number of important cooperation achievements.
