The individuals suspected of threatening, assaulting, and forcing disabled individuals to work have been arrested.

On September 18th, it was learned from the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Changzi County, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province that in response to complaints from netizens about the employment situation at Fuyao Building Materials Co., Ltd., Changzi County quickly organized a joint investigation team consisting of the departments of human resources, public security, civil affairs, and the government of Nanchen Town to conduct a thorough investigation. The investigation found that the two disabled individuals mentioned by netizens, who entered the brick factory in February 2025 with the production contractor Huang and Wang from Zhushan County, Hubei Province, primarily engaged in menial labor. During this period, Huang and Wang threatened, beat, and forced labor on the two disabled individuals, providing food and accommodation but not paying any wages. Currently, the brick factory has been ordered to stop production and rectify its practices, and administrative action has been taken in accordance with the law. The Changzi County Public Security Bureau has taken criminal coercive measures against the suspects Huang and Wang for the crime of forced labor; the Changzi County Civil Affairs Bureau has arranged for the two disabled individuals to be placed in a rescue station and is actively assisting them in finding their family.
