Huawei's Xu Zhijun: Ascend 950PR chip will be launched in Q1 next year.

At the Huawei Fully Connected Conference 2025, Huawei's rotating chairman Xu Zhijun stated that computing power has been, and will continue to be, the key to artificial intelligence, especially in China. He shared the follow-up plans for the Ascend chip. It is expected to launch the Ascend 950PR chip in the first quarter of 2026, the Ascend 950DT chip in the fourth quarter of 2026, the Ascend 960 chip in the fourth quarter of 2027, and the Ascend 970 chip in the fourth quarter of 2028.
