Year-on-year growth of 8.5%, Huoerguosi port in Xinjiang achieved a record high in car exports this year.
Since the beginning of this year, the automobile export through the Horgos Port in Ili, Xinjiang has reached a historic high. Over 600 cars are being exported from Horgos Port to countries like Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, which are part of the "Belt and Road" initiative. Chen Mingxiang, deputy section chief of the supervision section of Horgos Customs, said that according to statistics, the overall customs clearance time for exports has been reduced from over 40 hours to less than 8 hours. The continuous growth in the export volume of cars from Horgos Port not only demonstrates the competitiveness of "Made in China" in the international market, but also reflects the deepening trade cooperation between China and countries participating in the "Belt and Road" initiative.
