Chicago soybean oil futures fell more than 2.6%, and coffee C fell more than 7.5%
On Wednesday, the Bloomberg Commodity Index fell by 0.77% to 29.5688 points during the New York session. By the time the U.S. stock market opened at 21:00 Beijing time, it had ticked up slightly to 29.8627 points, reaching a daily high. However, it later continued to decline, hitting a daily low of 29.5121 points before the Federal Reserve announced a 25 basis point rate cut.
CBOT corn futures fell by 0.58%, while CBOT wheat futures fell by 0.84%.
CBOT soybean futures fell by 0.57% to $10.44 per bushel, while soybean meal futures fell by 0.28% and soybean oil futures fell by 2.63%.
ICE raw sugar futures dropped by 2.45%; ICE Arabica coffee futures fell by 0.06%, and coffee "C" futures fell by 7.56%.
New York cocoa futures fell by 0.26% to $7352 per ton, and ICE cotton futures fell by 0.74%.
