Ukraine and the United States announced a $150 million investment in a joint fund.

According to CCTV news, on September 17th local time, Ukraine and the United States International Development Finance Corporation announced that they have pledged to each invest $75 million into the US-Ukraine Joint Investment Fund. The US International Development Finance Corporation stated in a release that this investment will support the reconstruction and long-term economic recovery of Ukraine, and strengthen America's natural resource supply chain. Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko announced through social media that the US International Development Finance Corporation has committed to invest $75 million into the joint investment fund, and the Ukrainian government will provide matching funds, bringing the fund's initial size to $150 million, officially launching its operation. Sviridenko stated that the initial key projects of the fund will focus on energy, infrastructure, and critical mineral sectors, aiming to complete the implementation of 3 projects by the end of 2026.
