Starting from 17:10 on the 17th, the orange thunderstorm and strong wind warning signal for Yuexiu District and Tianhe District of Guangzhou will be in effect, with a possibility of upgrading the warning signal later. In addition, the yellow thunderstorm and strong wind warning for Hualong Town, Panyu District has been upgraded to red, and other towns have been upgraded to orange. Due to the strengthening of the strong thunderstorm cloud system moving in from the east, 12-level gusts have been observed in Hualong Town, Panyu District, and thunderstorms are expected to continue in Panyu District in the next 1 hour. Due to the influence of the strong thunderstorm cloud system, there is a red warning for thunderstorms and strong winds in several towns in Zengcheng District.
