Chinese smart energy (01004.HK) is expected to report a loss of approximately 536 million Hong Kong dollars for the fiscal year 2024, an increase of 79.3% from the previous year.

Zhitong Finance APP News, China Smart Energy (01004.HK) announced that the group is expected to incur a loss of approximately 299 million Hong Kong dollars for the year ending December 31, 2023, while a loss of approximately 95.4 million Hong Kong dollars was recorded for the year ending December 31, 2022, an increase of 213.4%. The increase in losses is mainly due to (including) the group having recognized (1) impairment losses of approximately 98 million Hong Kong dollars for refundable deposits, (2) impairment losses of approximately 53.8 million Hong Kong dollars for accounts receivable and other receivables, and (3) an increase in financing costs of approximately 100 million Hong Kong dollars.
