Closing of stock markets in Japan and South Korea

The Nikkei 225 index closed down 111.89 points, or 0.25%, at 44,790.38 points; the TOPIX index closed down 0.7% at 3,145.83 points. The KOSPI index fell 1.05% to 3,413.4 points.
