Joseph Li: Exemption range of airplane departure tax will be expanded starting from October.

Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam delivered a new policy address today in the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Lam pointed out that Hong Kong is connected to over 200 global destinations and will actively attract both local and non-local airlines to operate more flights in the future. Lam announced that the exemption scope of the aircraft departure tax will be expanded starting from October.
