Today, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Carrie Lam, delivered a new policy address at the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Lam stated that the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau of the Special Administrative Region Government is exploring further cooperation with Shenzhen and Qianhai respectively in promoting the development of digital finance and supporting the deep integration of technology and finance between the two cities of Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The relevant measures are expected to be announced within this year.
