Li Jiachao: Promote the realization of cross-border data flow from the mainland to the He Tao Hong Kong Park.

The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Carrie Lam, today delivered a new policy address to the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Lam stated that Hong Kong will leverage the advantages of "one country, two systems" to promote the early cross-border flow of mainland data to the River Loop Hong Kong Park for scientific research under compliant and secure conditions, to support AI application testing and innovation. In addition, following the establishment of the AI Supercomputing Center at Cyberport and the launch of the "Artificial Intelligence Grant Scheme" by the Special Administrative Region Government, this year, around 10 hectares of development land for data park in the North District will be tendered in the market, providing advanced computing facilities to promote the development of data and AI-related industries.
