According to the Beijing Financial Supervision Bureau, as of 8 am on September 17, Beijing's property insurance companies had received a total of 48,900 car insurance claims related to the hail disaster caused by scattered hail weather on the evening of September 13, with an estimated loss amount of 409 million yuan. The disaster was concentrated in areas such as Tongzhou, Fengtai, and Daxing. On the evening of September 13, 2025, due to the influence of thunderstorm clouds, Beijing experienced scattered hail weather, with multiple areas issuing yellow hail warnings. The Beijing Financial Supervision Bureau immediately dispatched insurance companies within its jurisdiction to provide comprehensive insurance claims services.
