Shenzhen will take the lead in establishing a national blue carbon trading alliance.

Recently, the Ministry of Natural Resources authorized Shenzhen to lead the formation of the National Blue Carbon Trading Alliance, adhering to the principles of "openness, equality, cooperation, and mutual benefit", promoting technology sharing and cooperation, advancing the standardized and scaled development of the blue carbon market, exploring international cooperation, and enhancing China's influence in the field of blue carbon. According to the leading unit of the alliance, the Shenzhen Urban Planning and Natural Resources Bureau, the first batch of members have now begun public recruitment.
