Ecuador's seven provinces enter a state of emergency to deal with massive protests.

On September 16th local time, Ecuadorian President Moreno issued a decree, declaring a state of emergency for seven provinces including Pichincha Province and Cotopaxi Province where the capital Quito is located, lasting for 60 days, in response to mass protests caused by a rise in diesel prices.
