Wang Yi Meets with Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Son Soubert

Wang Yi said that President Xi Jinping successfully visited Cambodia in April this year. China is willing to work together with Cambodia to accelerate the implementation of cooperation projects in various fields guided by the strategic consensus of the leaders of the two countries, make good use of the "Industrial Development Corridor" and "Rice Corridor" plans, and create more visible results. Sun Chantou stated that Cambodia will continue to firmly cooperate with China in building the "Belt and Road" initiative of high-quality, and continuously promote the construction of a community of common destiny between Cambodia and China in the new era. The two sides also exchanged views on the border conflict between Cambodia and Thailand. Wang Yi said that Cambodia and Thailand are neighbors, hoping that both sides can seize the opportunity, and accelerate the reconciliation process.
