Macao Monetary Authority: The preliminary estimate of total foreign exchange reserve assets at the end of August was MOP 235.4 billion.

According to the Zhixun Finance APP, on September 15th, the Monetary Authority of Macau announced that the total amount of foreign exchange reserves in the Macau Special Administrative Region at the end of August 2025 was preliminarily calculated to be 235.4 billion Macau patacas (29.3 billion US dollars), an increase of 0.7% from the revised total of 233.7 billion Macau patacas (28.9 billion US dollars) at the end of July 2025. The total amount of foreign exchange reserves at the end of August 2025 is approximately equivalent to 11 times the circulation currency in Macau at the end of July 2025, or 87.9% of the Macau pataca portion in the broad money supply (M2) in 2025.
