Our country has phased out approximately 628,000 tons of substances that deplete the ozone layer.

Today is International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer. The Ministry of Ecology and Environment and other departments held a commemorative meeting in Beijing to summarize China's compliance achievements and discuss future development. It is understood that China strictly fulfills its obligations under international environmental conventions, achieving each stage compliance target on time, and has transformed from a participant to a leader. As of now, China has eliminated approximately 628,000 tons of ozone-depleting substances in production and use.
