The Ministry of Commerce and 9 other departments have released "Several Policy Measures on Expanding Service Consumption". The measures propose optimizing student holiday arrangements and improving supporting policies. While keeping the total number of holidays and teaching hours unchanged, it encourages eligible regions to scientifically adjust the teaching and holiday time of each school year, explore setting spring and autumn breaks in primary and secondary schools, correspondingly shorten summer and winter vacations, and increase the time for tourism and other service consumption, taking into account factors such as climate conditions, production arrangements, and implementation of paid vacation for workers.
