Argentinian President Mila delivered a television speech on the 15th local time on the 2026 fiscal budget, reiterating that there will be no changes to the economic policy and will continue to strive for fiscal balance. Mila stated that fiscal balance is a "non-negotiable" goal and that if this goal can be achieved, the Argentine economy will experience "unimaginable" growth, otherwise it will once again fall into uncontrollable inflation. The budget proposal submitted to Congress that day shows that the Gross Domestic Product of Argentina is expected to grow by 5% in 2026, with an inflation rate estimated at 10.1%.
