Ministry of National Defense responds to passage of Fujian ship through Taiwan Strait.

Ministry of National Defense spokesperson Jiang Bin stated that recently, the third aircraft carrier of our country, the Fujian ship, passed through the Taiwan Strait and went to the relevant sea areas in the South China Sea to carry out test and training missions. This is a normal arrangement in the process of aircraft carrier construction, in line with relevant international laws and international practices, and is not targeted at any specific country or objective. China adheres to the path of peaceful development and pursues a defensive national defense policy. We will continue to advance aircraft carrier construction based on national security and equipment technology development needs.
