Dongting Lake area key embankment reinforcement phase 2 project has started with a total construction period of 54 months.

This morning, the second phase project of reinforcing key embankments in Dongting Lake area of Hunan Province started construction in Hanshou County, Changde City. The project will reinforce the embankments of Anbao, Yuannan, Datong Lake, Yule, and Xiangbin Nanhu to meet the standards, with a total length of 563 kilometers and a protected area of 2620 square kilometers. The estimated total investment for the project is 5.941 billion yuan, with a total construction period of 54 months.
