The world's strongest power transmission project from Tibet to Guangdong has begun construction.

On September 16th, the mobilization meeting for the construction of the world's largest clean energy base direct current transmission project, the key inter-provincial and inter-regional power transmission project in China's "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan", and the 800 kV ultra-high voltage direct current transmission project from Southeast Tibet to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was held. This marks the start of construction of the world's strongest power transmission project with the most advanced technology and largest investment scale. The total investment of the project is approximately 53.2 billion yuan, with supporting investments in the "water, wind, and solar integration" power base exceeding 150 billion yuan, which will effectively drive the growth of a series of upstream and downstream equipment and construction industries. It is estimated that during peak periods, it will create direct employment for over 100,000 people, effectively promoting the economic and social development of Tibet.
