Douyin Group Vice President discusses the "Byte Resignation Track": Some authors have never worked at Byte, they are being lured by training institutions to sell courses.
On September 15, Li Liang, Vice President of Douyin Group, posted an article stating that in the recent period, there have been many posts on social media platforms claiming to be from "former ByteDance employees" with titles like "Left ByteDance with a monthly salary of X thousand", often accompanied by ByteDance's logo as the background or employee ID photo. These posts have attracted a lot of traffic and inadvertently created a "ByteDance Resignation Track" on social media. After conducting some investigations, it was found that many similar posts were actually not from former ByteDance employees, but were instead posted by training institutions using the name of a big company to attract customers. Some of these institutions repeatedly posted such false posts, prompting the company to sue one of the more rampant ones. Recently, the company obtained a court ruling that deemed these actions as misleading false advertising and unfair competition. It also reminds internet users to exercise caution and discernment when consuming online information, as what you see about "resignations from big companies" or "insider information from big companies" may not necessarily be true.
