Senior US officials said on Monday that President Trump is expected to announce economic agreements totaling over $100 billion during his visit to the UK this week. The visit will include a tech partnership expected to bring in billions of dollars in new investment. Trump and UK Prime Minister Stamer are also expected to announce a defense technology cooperation agreement and work to deepen ties between the two countries' major financial centers. These agreements are expected to be at least partially announced at a business reception hosted by Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak that Trump and Stamer will attend. Several top US tech leaders, including Jensen Huang of NVIDIA and Sam Altman of OpenAI, are also expected to participate in a roundtable meeting on Thursday at the Prime Minister's country estate of Chequers.
