On September 15, 2025, local time, Polish President Navrotsky met with Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, in Warsaw. Navrotsky asked Wang Yi to convey sincere greetings to President Xi Jinping, and appreciated China's remarkable development achievements. Navrotsky stated that Poland was one of the first countries to establish diplomatic relations with China, and the two countries have always maintained good friendship. As a historian, I am well aware of the huge sacrifices and contributions China made for the victory in the war. The Polish side cherishes the traditional friendship with China and is willing to strengthen exchanges and deepen cooperation with China, learn from history, promote the continuous development of bilateral relations, and jointly safeguard world peace and security. Wang Yi conveyed President Xi Jinping's warm greetings, stating that under the strategic guidance of the two countries' leaders, the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Poland has maintained stable development. Poland was one of the earliest countries to establish diplomatic relations with New China, and over the past half century, China-Poland relations have withstood international challenges, with friendship always being the main theme and cooperation always being the main melody. China values Poland's position and influence in Europe and the world, and is willing to continue deepening strategic mutual trust and enhancing strategic cooperation with Poland, jointly promoting the continuous development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Poland.
