Wang Yi met with Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Cichocki.
On September 15, 2025, local time, Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Cichocki in Warsaw and held the fourth meeting of the China-Poland Government Cooperation Committee. Wang Yi said that both China and Poland are nations that are self-reliant and self-reliant, both adhere to independence and have gone through hardships to find a development path that suits their own national conditions. Poland was one of the first countries to establish diplomatic relations with New China, and also one of the first to sign cooperation agreements for jointly building the "Belt and Road" with China. China attaches great importance to Poland's important position in Europe and has always placed the China-Poland relations in an important position in China-Europe relations. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations half a century ago, China-Poland relations have formed a friendship core of "mutual respect, equal treatment, mutually beneficial cooperation, and exchange and mutual learning", which is particularly valuable in the current complex international situation and deserves to be cherished. Next year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Poland. Both sides should summarize historical experience, carry forward friendly traditions, adhere to mutual respect, take care of each other's core interests, and jointly promote the uninterrupted development of China-Poland relations.
