This summer, the cultural and tourism market is hot, and the performance market has further optimized consumer scenes, continuously responding to market demand in terms of product content and form, promoting consumption upgrades, and injecting strong momentum into summer consumption. According to the monitoring and comprehensive calculation of the ticketing information collection platform of the China Performance Industry Association, the number of commercial performances nationwide (excluding entertainment venue performances) in the summer of 2025 (July-August) was 126,300, an increase of 4.18% compared to the summer of 2024; the box office revenue was 15.135 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.90%, and the number of audience members was 42.2332 million, a year-on-year increase of 5.17%.
