According to the "Shandong Province Flood Control and Drought Relief Emergency Plan", combined with the weather forecast from the provincial meteorological bureau and the previous rainfall situation, after consultation and assessment, the provincial flood control headquarters has decided to initiate a level four flood control emergency response in cities such as Jinan, Qingdao, Zibo, Zaozhuang, Yantai, Weifang, Jining, Tai'an, Weihai, Rizhao, Linyi, and Heze at 18:00 on September 15. All relevant departments at all levels should quickly organize flood control personnel to their positions, implement emergency response measures in accordance with the plan and division of responsibilities, focus on preventing and responding to mountain torrents, geological disasters, small reservoirs, floods in small and medium-sized rivers, low-lying flood-prone areas, bridges across rivers, tourist attractions, ongoing construction projects, etc., timely and accurately issue warning information, decisively organize the evacuation of residents in dangerous areas, pre-position emergency response forces and equipment, and make every effort to carry out emergency response work.
