Maoming, Guangdong, Dianbai District launched a special rectification action for agarwood enterprises, and 5 companies have been investigated.

In response to the report on the fake products of some agarwood companies in Guanzhu Town, Dianbai District, broadcasted on the CCTV Financial Investigation program of the CCTV Finance Channel, a joint investigation team led by the local district market supervision administration and composed of the police, local town streets, and other departments was established. On the evening of the program's broadcast, the investigation team conducted a comprehensive on-site investigation and evidence collection of the involved companies, with a total of 118 law enforcement personnel deployed and 17 production and operation units inspected. After preliminary verification, 5 companies suspected of illegal activities have been investigated and filed according to law. Dianbai District plans to organize a joint law enforcement team to carry out a comprehensive inspection and rectification action on the quality of agarwood products, strengthen the supervision of the entire chain, crack down on illegal activities, and promote the high-quality development of the industry.
