Algerian government reshuffle: Sad Karyb appointed as Prime Minister

On the evening of September 14th local time, the Algerian Presidency issued a news release announcing a government reshuffle and adjustments to some personnel appointments. Saf-Karim was appointed Prime Minister, replacing the acting Prime Minister. In addition, Sad Saoud was appointed Minister of the Interior, Local Administration, and Transportation, while Mohamed Akab was appointed Secretary of State and Minister of Hydrocarbons and Mining. The latest personnel changes also involve the Minister of Energy and Renewable Energy, Minister of International Trade and Export Promotion, Minister of Industry, Minister of Culture and Arts, among others.
