Recently, the Communist Party of China Fujian Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Fujian Province issued the "Action Plan for Accelerating the Comprehensive Green Transformation of Fujian's Economic and Social Development". The plan proposes vigorously developing non-fossil energy sources, promoting the upgrading and transformation of onshore wind power, accelerating the construction of nearshore offshore wind power projects, and prudently advancing the development of offshore wind power bases in southern Fujian. It also emphasizes the safe and orderly development of nuclear power, prudently promoting the construction of Zhangzhou nuclear power and Ningde nuclear power projects, and exploring the use of nuclear energy for electricity and heating. Additionally, it explores the development and utilization of new energy sources such as ocean energy. By 2030, the proportion of non-fossil energy consumption is expected to reach over 30%.
