More than a hundred students and teachers in Jining experience stomach pains and vomiting incident, parents claim that the school did not inform them immediately after the incident.
In response to yesterday's report from Jining, Shandong Province, that "over a hundred teachers and students from a privately-run school were hospitalized for abdominal pain and vomiting," First Financial has learned that relevant departments are currently investigating the incident, and investigators have been sent to the hospital to determine the cause. Whether the incident was caused by food poisoning or viral infection remains to be officially announced. First Financial has called the Yanzhou Disease Prevention and Control Center in Jining, Shandong, but the phone was not answered. However, several parents of students at Chaoyang School in Yanzhou District, who were interviewed by First Financial, have questioned the safety of the school meals provided off-campus, as well as the school's failure to inform parents immediately after the incident.
