Announcement from the Ministry of Commerce: Initiation of anti-dumping investigation on imported analog chips originating from the United States.

The Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China received an application for anti-dumping investigation submitted by the Jiangsu Semiconductor Industry Association on behalf of the domestic analog chip industry on July 23, 2025. The applicant requested an anti-dumping investigation on imported analog chips originating from the United States. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Commerce conducted a review of the applicant's qualifications, the relevant situation of the products under investigation, the relevant situation of similar products in China, the impact of the products under investigation on the domestic industry, and the relevant situation of the country under investigation. Based on the evidence provided by the applicant and the preliminary review by the Ministry of Commerce, the total production volume of the applicant's related analog chips meets the qualifications specified in the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China. The application also includes the required content and evidence for initiating an anti-dumping investigation as stipulated in Articles 14 and 15 of the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China. Based on the results of the above review, in accordance with Article 16 of the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Commerce has decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on imported analog chips originating from the United States as of September 13, 2025.
