Dongfeng Yang Yanding: Fully self-developed 350Wh/kg 1C solid-state battery products are expected to be first installed in vehicles in 2026.

On September 13th, Yang Yanding, Deputy Chief Engineer and Director of the Research and Development Institute of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, revealed at the 2025 TEDA Automobile Forum that Dongfeng Motor is laying out research and development of third-generation solid-state batteries. The fully self-developed 350Wh/kg 1C solid-state battery product is expected to be first installed in complete vehicle products in 2026, achieving a range of 1000 kilometers.
