State Energy Administration: Solicitation of opinions on the Measures for the Security Management of Energy Industry Data.

In order to implement the decisions and arrangements on data security made by the Party Central Committee and the State Council, regulate data processing activities in the energy industry, strengthen data security management, prevent data security risks, and promote data development and utilization, the National Energy Administration has formulated the "Energy Industry Data Security Management Measures" in accordance with the laws and regulations such as the Data Security Law of the People's Republic of China, the Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China, the Energy Law of the People's Republic of China, the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, and the Regulations on the Administration of Network Data Security. The draft regulations are now open for public comments. Supporting systems, standards, and norms mentioned in the document will be separately formulated and issued.
