Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) debuted NP3.0 battery safety technology at the Munich Auto Show.

Recently, at the 2025 Munich Motor Show, CATL released NP3.0 technology. Through eight major technological supports such as flame-retardant electrolyte, nano-coated cathode materials, and aerogel thermal insulation pads, this technology jointly builds a "safety iron triangle" from the chemical system, structure to system levels. In emergency situations during high-speed driving, it ensures that the vehicle is in a controllable state, allowing the driver to have a sense of control and reaction time, calmly leaving the dangerous area and enhancing the active safety capability during the driving process.
