Fujian Putian launches new measures to support the high-quality development of the arts and crafts industry.

Recently, the Finance Bureau of Putian City, together with six other departments including the Industry and Information Bureau, formulated and issued "Several Measures to Support the High-Quality Development of the Arts and Crafts Industry in Putian", fully supporting the high-quality development of the arts and crafts industry in terms of expanding scale, upgrading brands, and other aspects. In terms of expanding the scale of the industry, Putian will increase support for leading and key enterprises, guide enterprises to increase scale and apply for recognition and provide tiered supporting rewards; encourage enterprises to apply for technological transformation projects, provide interest support, guide enterprises to make good use of policies such as large-scale equipment renewal and trade-in of consumer goods, and carry out technological transformation and infrastructure construction. In terms of leading innovation and design, support enterprises in applying for industrial design centers, research institutes, and specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, and provide corresponding financial subsidies according to policies; support the organization of innovative design competitions, and provide subsidies for innovative design competitions jointly held by provinces and cities.
