J.P. Morgan economist Michael Feroli predicts that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates by 25 basis points next week. He sees two or three dissenting voices supporting a larger rate cut, but no one supporting keeping rates unchanged. The dot plot still projects another rate cut after 2025.
